Invitation to the Swiss Association of Taiwan (SAT) Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2024

Dear Member of our Association,

on behalf of the committee, I warmly invite all registered members to join us for our Annual General Meeting.

As a reminder, this event is free for members. Non-members are welcome to attend.
Please note that non-members will not have voting rights.

• Nominations for Board Members
  The Board recommends keeping the Board unchanged until the AGM 2025.
  Any active SAT member may propose and/or request changes within the board.

• Election of Auditor for 2024/2025
  The Board recommends electing Philipp Stalder again, as he is our proven and fully professional Auditor.
  
  
• Proposed Change to Articles from March 20, 2019, Art. 6:
  • Current: “All members of the Association residing in Taiwan who have paid their membership dues (at the latest at that time) shall have one vote each. Families/couples have 2 votes, but only those present can vote. There shall be no votes by proxy.”
  • New:
    • Art. 6a) All members of the Association residing in Taiwan who have paid their membership dues shall have one vote each. Families/couples have 2 votes, but only those present can vote. There shall be no votes by proxy.
    • Art. 6b) Membership fees are due by January 31st latest and therefore the membership is valid for the respective calendar year.
    • Art. 6c) Membership fees paid on or after February 1st will create membership only until December 31st of the respective year.

  As has been long tradition, the Swiss Association of Taiwan is honored to invite its participating members to the dinner. Two Beverages are included. Any additional Beverages need to be ordered and paid on-site directly to the restaurant.
  Non-Members are asked to pay a fee of NT$ 1’300 to cover the cost for the dinner. Beverages for Non-Members are not covered by SAT.

Registration will be open until Saturday October 19, 2024. 

Please register as soon as possible because we have to pre-order the Dinner, so unfortunately no walk-ins can be accepted.  Thank you for your understanding.

Membership fees for 2025 will remain unchanged at NT$ 1’500 for individuals and NT$ 2’000 for families/couples. All members will receive a payment reminder in December 2024, therefore no membership fees will be collected during this AGM.
